International Comedy Festival Comedians to perform at Revolver Queenstown
As they did in 2008 some of the International guest comedians will be
dropping in to Revolver, the home of live comedy in Queenstown, this week
for three shows – Weds 20. Thurs 21 and Sat 23 May.
It was an absolute sell-out last year and 2009 should prove no exception.
Headlining the show is UK comedian, Carey Marx, who was one of the
favourites on last week’s Comedy Gala that broadcast to 1 million people on
TV2. His current season in Auckland is proving so popular that the producers
are adding extra shows to try and meet demand.
Carey Marx is renowned for his edgy material which guarantees that Comedy in
Queenstown this month will be a memorable night out.
Carey will be supported by fellow Brit, Dan Nightingale a Northerner with a
growing reputation on the UK Pro Comedy circuit. He has already proved to be
a very popular comedian during the first two weeks of the festival in
Auckland with an easy engaging style that gets the whole audience involved
in the show whether they want to or not!
